The Aria Poker Room saw a gathering of poker players in the world of the top rank in the past week when the Aria High Rollers event was played out.
This was the November edition which included two no limit hold’em events which involved $25,000 and a super high roller event of $50,000. The first event of the weekend of 20th November was Aria High Roller 45 which included a no limit hold’em event. There were a total of forty entries and the event saw Ali Fazeli come out victorious. He captured the top prize as well as the title. It made this win for him as the third title and it has helped him secure a finish in the top four positions in high stakes poker events.
The following day Aria High Roller 46 was held which was another buy in event with prize money of $25,000. There were about 26 entries and the buildup was a prize pool of $624,000.
Dan Smith was able to come on top in this event and for him this was the third title. He has accumulated about 4262 in POY points with many earnings in 2016 which have seen him move to Player of the Year category as per the leader board. Even David Peters had a good run at this event. Peters then took up winning position at Aria Super High Roller 13. He earned a total of 510 points as champion in this event. It was his fourth title that he gained and he finished at the eighteenth final table. Peters has shown consistent performance and he has won a gold bracelet at WSOP this year. He has seen considerable fortune this year and every few weeks he has managed to make a big score at different events.
